U.S. Representative Andrew Clyde recently addressed a range of topics on his social media account, including honoring a fallen soldier, criticizing federal healthcare programs, and congratulating a local sports team.
On December 4, 2025, Clyde posted about Army Specialist Sarah Beckstorm, stating, “We will never forget Army Specialist Sarah Beckstorm. Continued prayers for her family.”
The following day, Clyde commented on an investigation into the Affordable Care Act subsidies: “A bombshell GAO investigation exposes rampant fraud in Obamacare subsidies. ONE Social Security Number was used on applications for MORE THAN 125 different policies. Democrats want your tax dollars to keep funding their fraudulent, broken system. Republicans want to fix it.” The Government Accountability Office (GAO) has periodically reviewed the administration of health care subsidies under the Affordable Care Act.
On December 7, 2025, Clyde recognized the University of Georgia football team’s achievement: “Congratulations to the Georgia Bulldogs—including Rabun County’s own Gunner Stockton—on becoming back-to-back SEC Champs! How ‘Bout Them Dawgs!”
Clyde represents Georgia in Congress and has consistently secured re-election since first winning office in 2020. In that year he defeated Devin Pandy with nearly 79% of the vote; in 2022 he won against Michael Ford with over 72%, and in 2024 he prevailed over Tambrei Cash with approximately 69%.
