Rep. Andrew Clyde, a member of the U.S. House of Representatives from Georgia, posted several statements on his official X account this week, focusing on national security and tax policy.
On August 19, 2025, Clyde praised former President Donald Trump’s impact on public safety in Washington D.C., writing: “President Trump is making our nation’s capital SAFE again for the American people! https://t.co/UMSXpPv8gq”.
Later that same day, he commented on immigration policies: “It’s simple:
Sanctuary policies put American lives at risk.
Mass deportations make our country safer.”
Two days later, on August 21, Clyde addressed tax policy and its effects on his home state: “Thanks to Republicans’ One Big Beautiful Bill, Georgians will see an average tax cut of $3,086 next year.
Great news for the Peach State!”
Clyde has represented Georgia in Congress since 2021. He secured reelection victories in three consecutive cycles: defeating Devin Pandy in 2020 with nearly 79% of the vote; Michael Ford in 2022 with over 72%; and Tambrei Cash in 2024 with almost 69%. These results reflect consistent electoral support within his district.
