Rep. Andrew Clyde, a member of the U.S. House of Representatives, recently used his social media platform to highlight legislative developments and political actions involving President Trump and national monuments.
On August 4, 2025, Clyde posted about recent legislation signed by former President Trump: “One month ago today, President Trump signed the One Big Beautiful Bill into law—delivering a stronger, safer, and more prosperous America. Promises made, promises kept. “
The following day, on August 5, Clyde commented on immigration trends under Trump’s administration: “Thanks to President Trump, the U.S. is on track for negative net migration for the first time in at least 50 years. This is what the American people voted for!”
Later that evening, Clyde addressed the status of the Reconciliation Monument at Arlington National Cemetery: “I fought to keep the Reconciliation Monument—which commemorates national unity after the Civil War—in Arlington National Cemetery. Yet Joe Biden removed it to rewrite history and divide our country. THANK YOU, @SecDef, for returning the monument back where it belongs! “
Clyde has held his congressional seat through several election cycles. In 2024, he defeated Tambrei Cash with 69% of the vote; in 2022 he won against Michael Ford with over 72% support; and in 2020 he prevailed over Devin Pandy with nearly 79% of votes cast.
