Rep. Andrew Clyde, a U.S. Congressman from Georgia who has consistently won his seat in recent elections, posted a series of statements on his social media account regarding federal firearms regulations, border security under President Trump, and allegations against Delegate Stacey Plaskett.
On November 17, 2025, Rep. Clyde commented on the National Firearms Act (NFA), stating: “$0 NFA tax = Zero legal standing for NFA registration.”
The following day, he addressed U.S.-Mexico border policy, writing: “In less than one year, President Trump has brought illegal U.S.-Mexico border crossings to their lowest level since 1970.
Joe Biden’s border crisis was a choice.

Rep. Clyde’s public statements come after several successful election campaigns in Georgia’s Ninth Congressional District. In the most recent contest in 2024, he defeated Tambrei Cash with nearly 69% of the vote; previous victories include defeating Michael Ford in 2022 with over 72% and Devin Pandy in 2020 with almost 79%.
