Rep. Andrew Clyde, a member of the U.S. House of Representatives, used his social media platform this week to comment on border security and gun rights, highlighting his positions on law enforcement and immigration policy.

On August 13, 2025, Rep. Clyde posted: “Whether it’s our southern border or our nation’s capital, Democrats always choose lawlessness over law and order.”

A day later, on August 14, 2025, he addressed immigration issues in another post: “For the third straight month, ZERO illegal aliens were released into the country.

Thanks to President Trump, our borders are CLOSED and the American people are being PROTECTED again.”

On August 15, 2025, Rep. Clyde shifted focus to Second Amendment rights with a message referencing his ongoing efforts in Congress: ” Great progress!

I’ve been fighting on this issue for years, especially through the appropriations process.

Congress must take action to ensure Americans can exercise their God-given 2A rights in our nation’s capital. https://t.co/zfoZDh2BrRhttps://t.co/vLC02uA5yz

Rep. Andrew Clyde has maintained a strong presence in Georgia politics since first winning election to Congress in 2020. He secured victory against Devin Pandy that year with nearly 79% of the vote. In subsequent elections—defeating Michael Ford in 2022 with more than 72% and Tambrei Cash in 2024 with about 69%—Clyde has consistently received significant support from voters.

His recent statements align with broader debates over border policy under former President Donald Trump’s administration as well as ongoing discussions regarding Second Amendment rights within Washington D.C.
