On June 6, 2025, Rep. Clyde commemorated the anniversary of D-Day with a tweet reflecting on the courage and sacrifice of Allied forces during World War II. He stated: “81 years ago today, Allied forces stormed the beaches of Normandy to defeat tyranny and defend the freedoms we enjoy today. Let us never forget these heroes, their courage, or their sacrifice.”
In another tweet dated June 9, 2025, Clyde addressed recent unrest in Los Angeles by expressing his disapproval of the events unfolding there. He attributed the disturbances to political factors: “The riots in Los Angeles are unacceptable and un-American. Make no mistake, this is the direct result of the radical Left embracing and inciting violence, chaos, and lawlessness.”
Later that day on June 9, Clyde expressed support for former President Donald Trump through another post which read: “Overwhelmingly peaceful.” Thank you for reminding the American people how blessed we are to have President Donald Trump back in the White House.
Andrew Clyde’s educational background includes a BA from Notre Dame (1985), a BBA from Bethel University (1985), and further studies at the University of Georgia (1999).
