On August 15, 2025, Rep. Clyde expressed support for former President Donald Trump’s legislative efforts, stating: “President Trump’s One Big Beautiful Bill delivers a safer, stronger, and more prosperous America. MAJOR WIN for Northeast Georgia. “
Three days later, on August 18, 2025, he commented on an incident involving the deaths of three Americans and immigration policies in California: “3 innocent Americans were killed by an illegal alien who was given a Commercial Driver’s License by Gavin Newsom’s California. Sanctuary policies have deadly, tragic, and preventable consequences. Mass deportations will make our streets, highways, and neighborhoods SAFE again.”
Later that same day, Rep. Clyde made another post about former President Trump: “President Trump is the PEACE President. “
Andrew Clyde has consistently secured electoral victories in Georgia’s congressional races since 2020. He won the general election against Devin Pandy in 2020 with nearly 79% of the vote; against Michael Ford in 2022 with over 72%; and most recently defeated Tambrei Cash in 2024 with approximately 69% of the vote.
