Rep. Andrew Clyde, a U.S. Congressman who has consistently secured reelection in Georgia’s 9th congressional district, posted several statements on his social media account on September 3, 2025, expressing support for former President Donald Trump and recent Republican policy initiatives.

In a post at 14:53 UTC, Clyde wrote: “100% agree, Mr. President. Let’s get it done.”

Later that day at 17:02 UTC, he criticized Democratic leadership in urban areas and endorsed Trump’s efforts on public safety: “For years, lawless Democrats have made our cities dangerous. It’s beyond time to restore public safety to our streets. President Trump is delivering on his promise to make America SAFE again!”

At 18:14 UTC the same day, Clyde highlighted Republican tax policies under Trump: “President Trump’s Working Family Tax Cuts are delivering historic tax relief to hardworking Americans across the country. Promises made, promises kept.”

Clyde’s recent posts come as he continues his tenure in Congress following a series of electoral victories over Tambrei Cash in 2024 (69%–31%), Michael Ford in 2022 (72.4%–27.6%), and Devin Pandy in 2020 (78.6%–21.4%). These results underscore his established position within Georgia politics.
