The Atlanta Dream announced on April 19 its 2026 training camp roster, featuring a mix of returning core players, offseason acquisitions, and young talent as the team continues its pursuit of a championship.
This announcement highlights the importance of both continuity and new additions for the franchise. The Dream maintains its role as a key team in the Women’s National Basketball Association (WNBA), according to the official website.
The team’s core includes Allisha Gray, Brionna Jones, Jordin Canada, Naz Hillmon, Rhyne Howard, and newly acquired two-time WNBA All-Star Angel Reese. They are joined by returning contributors such as Te-Hina Paopao and Taylor Thierry. This group played a major role in Atlanta’s historic 2025 season that saw 30 wins and a franchise-best .682 winning percentage.
New faces include Isobel Borlase—recently named Most Valuable Player in Australia’s Women’s National Basketball League—and draft picks Madina Okot and Indya Nivar. Okot brings size at center while Nivar is known for her defensive play. Additional players competing for roster spots are Paige Robinson, Bella Fontleroy, Sacha Washington, Laila Phelia, Holly Winterburn, Sika Koné (a returnee), Maite Cazorla and Stephanie Jones.
Head Coach Karl Smesko returns for his second season with an emphasis on precision offense and spacing. The Dream will open their season at home against defending champions Las Vegas Aces on May 17 at State Farm Arena.
