The Atlanta Dream have announced their finalized roster for the 2025 WNBA regular season. The team, which consists of 11 players, features a mix of seasoned veterans and promising new talent. This follows an offseason that saw significant additions to the squad.

Brittney Griner, a 10-time WNBA All-Star, is among the high-profile acquisitions. Joining her are Brionna Jones, a three-time All-Star, and Shatori Walker-Kimbrough, who was the runner-up for Sixth Player of the Year. These players bring leadership and experience to a team aiming to strengthen its championship ambitions.

Returning to the lineup are key players such as Rhyne Howard and Allisha Gray, both two-time All-Stars. Jordin Canada also returns with her reputation as a defensive standout and two-time WNBA Champion. Nia Coffey, Naz Hillmon, and Maya Caldwell add depth to this core group.

New additions from the 2025 draft include Te-Hina Paopao and Taylor Thierry. Paopao comes in as a National Champion from South Carolina, while Thierry joins from Ohio State. Both rookies secured their places on the roster after notable performances in training camp.

Karl Smesko will lead the team as head coach in his first year at the helm. Known for his focus on precision offense and disciplined defense, Smesko’s approach aims to drive smart decision-making and intensity on the court.

The Dream begin their season with two away games before facing off against Indiana Fever at State Farm Arena on May 22 for their home opener. Fans can purchase tickets through dream.wnba.com/tickets.
