The Atlanta Falcons have announced their inactives for the Week 11 game against the Carolina Panthers. Wide receiver Drake London, guard Chris Lindstrom, and defensive lineman Brandon Dorlus, who were previously listed as questionable due to various injuries and illness, will be active for the matchup.
Cornerback Mike Hughes (neck) and defensive lineman Zach Harrison (knee) are among those ruled inactive for Sunday’s game. Additionally, guard Matthew Bergeron (ankle), cornerback Dee Alford (concussion), and edge rusher Leonard Floyd (hamstring) had already been declared out on Friday. This marks the second consecutive week that Bergeron, Floyd, and Hughes will miss a game.
The absence of several key players raises questions about who will start at cornerback alongside A.J. Terrell. Last week in Germany, with Hughes unavailable, Alford moved to an outside position after previously playing nickel back. However, Alford left last week’s game early due to a concussion and practiced only in a limited capacity this week. According to league rules, a player must fully participate in practice at least once before clearing concussion protocol.
In response to these roster challenges, the Falcons elevated cornerback Cobee Bryant and safety Jammie Robinson from the practice squad instead of Keith Taylor Jr., who was called up last weekend. Natrone Brooks and Mike Ford remain available options at cornerback for this week’s contest.
The full list of inactive players for Atlanta includes: Dee Alford, Mike Hughes, Josh Woods (inside linebacker), Leonard Floyd, Matthew Bergeron, Elijah Garcia (defensive lineman), and Zach Harrison.
