The Atlanta Falcons will play their final preseason game of 2025 against the Dallas Cowboys on Friday, August 22. Both teams have lost their first two preseason games. The Falcons’ opening match against the Detroit Lions was suspended in the fourth quarter with Atlanta trailing 17-10, and they were defeated by the Tennessee Titans 23-20 in their second game. The Cowboys have lost to the Los Angeles Rams (31-21) and Baltimore Ravens (31-13).

This matchup serves as the last chance for coaches and front office staff from both teams to evaluate players before the NFL’s deadline for setting 53-man rosters, which is scheduled for Tuesday.

The game will be played at AT&T Stadium and starts at 8 p.m. ET. It will be broadcast locally on several TV affiliates including FOX 5 in Atlanta, WALB in Albany, WTOC in Savannah, WBRC in Birmingham, WRDW in Augusta, WTVY in Dothan, WTVM in Columbus, WPGA in Macon, and WAFF in Huntsville. The NFL Network will also provide live coverage.

For viewers inside the Atlanta market, streaming is available through NFL+. Fans outside the local area can watch via DAZN.

Radio broadcasts include coverage on 92.9 The Game, La Mejor, and SiriusXM Radio. Local television announcers are Justin Kutcher (play-by-play), Coy Wire and D.J. Shockley (color analysts), with Jen Hale reporting from the sidelines. On radio, Wes Durham handles play-by-play duties with Dave Archer as color analyst.
