Bijan Robinson said on Apr. 8 that he is entering his fourth year with the Atlanta Falcons feeling better than ever, after a record-setting season in 2025. Despite achieving significant milestones, including becoming the twelfth-highest all-purpose player in National Football League history, Robinson said he remains focused on improving every aspect of his game.
Robinson’s comments come as he prepares for another demanding season with the Falcons, who compete in the NFL’s NFC South division according to the official website. His drive for improvement is shaped by both personal standards and team goals. “People always say to me: ‘Bro, you’re like 12th-highest all-purpose player in NFL history,'” Robinson said. “But I am like, ‘Cool, but it wasn’t good enough because we didn’t accomplish what we wanted to accomplish.'”
Robinson explained that his focus extends beyond statistics or individual accolades. “Like I say every year, I am just trying to be better than the last year, in all aspects of my game,” he said. He also described how training with San Francisco 49ers running back Christian McCaffrey has helped him maintain peak physical condition through a rigorous regimen focused on both performance and recovery.
The Atlanta Falcons are based in Atlanta, Georgia according to their official website and have twice advanced to the Super Bowl—in 1998 and again in 2016—as reported by their official site. The team began as an expansion franchise in 1965 according to their official website and features Freddie the Falcon as its mascot.
Looking ahead to his role as a veteran leader within the team, Robinson expressed optimism about his current form and responsibilities: “Me being here for now going on my fourth year and me now being a veteran leader to these guys, it’s pretty cool. I am pretty excited…I really feel like this is the best I have felt my whole time being here.”
