Falcons defensive back Billy Bowman Jr. was added to the team’s injury report on Thursday with a shoulder injury, according to information released from Flowery Branch. Bowman was listed as a limited participant in practice.

He joins wide receivers Darnell Mooney and Drake London, who are also limited due to shoulder injuries. Safety DeMarcco Hellams (hamstring) and edge rusher James Pearce Jr. (groin) were also limited participants.

Wide receiver Casey Washington did not participate for the second consecutive day because of a concussion. Under league rules, players in the concussion protocol must be cleared for full football activity—including participation in a full team practice—at least one day before a game to be eligible to play. The status of Washington for Sunday’s game will depend on Friday’s injury and game report.

Other players who did not participate Thursday include wide receiver Jamal Agnew (groin), safety Jordan Fuller (knee), and offensive lineman Jack Nelson (calf).

The full injury reports for both the Falcons and Vikings can be found at their respective official sources.

“Falcons’ starting nickel Billy Bowman Jr. was added to the team’s injury report Thursday with a shoulder injury. He was limited. He joins two other names on Atlanta’s injury report who are also limited with shoulder injuries: Darnell Mooney and Drake London.”

“Fellow receiver Casey Washington did not participate for the second practice in a row. It’s Washington’s status that may be the biggest question mark at the moment based on league rules alone.”

“That’s because the league’s concussion protocol dictates a player in the protocol must be cleared for full football activity — including a full team practice — at least one day before a game in order to be eligible to play. So, Friday’s injury and game report will be indicative of Washington’s Sunday status.”
