On Tuesday, April 15, former West Hall High School standouts Braden Simms and Justin Shaffer’s current college team, the Piedmont Lions, won 11-5 in their NCAA Division III baseball game against the Oglethorpe Stormy Petrels.

The game took place at Hermance Stadium. This was their second matchup against the Stormy Petrels this season.

The Lions’ next game is scheduled for Tuesday, April 22 at 7 p.m. at Loudermilk Field against Oglethorpe Stormy Petrels.
