On Thursday, April 17, former North Forsyth High School standout Cason Engert’s current college team, the East Tennessee State Buccaneers, lost 5-1 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Mercer Bears.

The game took place at OrthoGeorgia Park at Claude Smith Field. This was their first matchup against the Bears this season.

The Buccaneers’ next game is scheduled for Friday, April 18 at 6 p.m. at OrthoGeorgia Park at Claude Smith Field against Mercer Bears.
