There were two gas stations in cities across Forsyth County selling premium gas at the lowest price of $3.04 per gallon in the week ending Feb. 7, according to customer reports submitted to GasBuddy.
Premium gas prices averaged $3.42 per gallon in Forsyth County.
Of the 83 reported gas stations located within Forsyth County, 37 offered premium gas.
The average reported price for a gallon of premium gas in Georgia was $3.47, unchanged from the previous week.
U.S. gas prices continue to decline after reaching their lowest level since 2021, according to GasBuddy. The group projects the national average could dip below $2.80 per gallon during the holiday period, driven by increased oil production and lower seasonal demand.
