Atlanta Falcons wide receiver Drake London has been named to the NFL’s Top 100 Players of 2025, ranking at No. 97. The announcement was made by the league on Tuesday.
Last season, London achieved a personal milestone with 100 receptions for 1,271 yards and nine touchdowns. These statistics placed him ninth in receptions, fourth in yards, and ninth in touchdowns across the NFL.
Falcons head coach Raheem Morris described London as a fierce competitor: “Drake is a really funny one because he comes across as this really nice, just calm demeanor human, and he is absolutely the opposite when it comes to football,” Morris said. “He is a barnyard bully. He’s a dog. He’s a high-level competitor.”
London reached his first triple-digit reception mark during his three-year career with an 11-yard catch from quarterback Michael Penix Jr. in Week 18 against the Carolina Panthers. He became only the fifth player in Falcons history to achieve such a feat since Julio Jones in 2018.
Additionally, London surpassed 1,000 receiving yards for the first time during Week 17 against the Washington Commanders with a notable 14-yard pass from Penix.
The nine touchdowns were also a career-high for London, significantly improving upon his previous best of four touchdowns in 2022.
London’s accomplishments came under new offensive coordinator Zac Robinson and with two new quarterbacks leading the team. Robinson praised London’s performance: “Drake is an unbelievable player,” he said. “He’s a big part of this organization… What he was able to accomplish last year… was unbelievable.”
Following his successful season in 2024, the Falcons opted to exercise London’s fifth-year option, extending his stay with Atlanta through the end of the 2026 season.
Drafted eighth overall by Atlanta in 2022, London has shown consistent improvement each year. His approach has been commended by wide receiver coach Ike Hilliard: “What I do appreciate from him is his approach every day,” Hilliard stated. “It’s business-like; he’s all ball.”
In addition to London’s recognition this year, four other Falcons players made it onto last year’s NFL Top 100 list: Chris Lindstrom (No.88), Kirk Cousins (No.81), Jessie Bates III (No.74), and Justin Simmons (No.57).
The remaining players for this year’s list will be announced daily on @NFL via X/Twitter.
