The Atlanta Falcons began assembling their 16-player practice squad for the 2025 regular season as soon as league rules allowed at noon ET on Wednesday. The team signed 13 players and an international player, all of whom were previously part of the Falcons’ 90-man training camp roster.
The following players were added to the practice squad: wide receivers Chris Blair, Dylan Drummond, and Nick Nash; cornerbacks Cobee Bryant and C.J. Henderson; offensive linemen Joshua Gray and Brandon Parker; safety Ronnie Harrison; edge rusher Khalid Kareem; tight end Joshua Simon; quarterback Easton Stick; defensive lineman Kentavius Street; and running back Carlos Washington Jr.
In addition, kicker Lenny Krieg was signed as an international player. He does not count toward the team’s practice squad limit.
On Thursday morning, Atlanta added offensive tackles Ryan Hayes and Carter Warren to the practice squad to strengthen a position group affected by recent injuries. With these additions, the practice squad now has 15 players, with Krieg included as an exception. This leaves one open spot remaining on the unit.
The composition of both the initial roster and practice squad is expected to change throughout the season.
Head coach Raheem Morris explained how the practice squad will function during games: “The Falcons will be able to elevate two players from the practice squad to the active roster for for each game day. A player is allowed three elevations per season. A fourth elevation would require the player to be signed to the 53-man roster.”
