The Atlanta Falcons have expanded their 2025 practice squad with the addition of two offensive tackles, Ryan Hayes and Carter Warren. Both players joined the team on Thursday after previously being part of other NFL organizations.
Hayes was drafted by the Miami Dolphins in the seventh round of the 2023 NFL Draft. Over the past two seasons, he spent most of his time on the Dolphins’ practice squad. He was elevated to the active roster three times and appeared in one game last year, participating in four special teams snaps.
Warren comes from the New York Jets, who selected him in the fourth round of the same draft. He played in 14 games over two seasons, starting six. Warren contributed primarily on offense with 544 career snaps and had a fumble recovery as a rookie.
Both players are new to Atlanta but bring recent league experience. The Falcons’ practice squad started with 13 players from their preseason roster and now includes these two additions. There is still one open spot left on the practice squad, which may continue to change as the season progresses.
“Just like Tuesday’s initial roster, the Falcons’ practice squad is not set in stone. There is a spot remaining for the Falcons to fill on the practice squad, and both will change throughout the season.”
