Four Atlanta Falcons players have been named to The Associated Press’ 2025 NFL All-Pro team, as announced Saturday. Running back Bijan Robinson earned first-team honors and was also recognized as a second-team all-purpose player. Tight end Kyle Pitts Sr., right guard Chris Lindstrom, and safety Jessie Bates III were each selected for the second team at their respective positions.

This marks Robinson’s first AP All-Pro selection since joining the league as a first-round draft pick in 2023. He previously finished fifth in the AP’s Offensive Rookie of the Year voting and has made consecutive Pro Bowl appearances from 2024 to 2025. Robinson led the league with 2,298 yards from scrimmage, ranking twelfth all-time for a single season in NFL history. He averaged 135.2 yards per game and exceeded 160 yards seven times during the season, including a high of 238 yards against the Buffalo Bills in Week 6 and another performance over 200 yards against the Los Angeles Rams in Week 17. Robinson recorded a career-high 1,478 rushing yards—fourth in the league—and added 820 receiving yards, which ranked second among running backs. He scored seven rushing touchdowns and four receiving touchdowns, becoming only the second running back ever to achieve at least 1,400 rushing yards and 800 receiving yards in one season.

Pitts is also a first-time All-Pro selection. Drafted by Atlanta in the first round, he was previously named to the Pro Bowl as a rookie in 2021. In the current season, Pitts caught 88 passes on 118 targets with a career-best catch rate of nearly seventy-five percent. He totaled 928 receiving yards to lead Atlanta and rank second among tight ends league-wide. Pitts accounted for just over twenty-five percent of his team’s total receiving yards—second most among tight ends—and scored five touchdowns this year.

Lindstrom has now received both AP second-team and Pro Bowl honors for four straight years since being drafted by Atlanta in the first round of 2019. This season he started every game, playing ninety-nine percent of offensive snaps—missing only ten out of a possible 1,096 snaps—and allowed just one sack over those plays. According to PFF data, his snap count ranks seventh among right guards; he received an overall grade of eighty-eight point four with high marks for run-blocking.

Bates returned as an AP second-teamer after intercepting three passes this season—including one returned thirty-four yards for a touchdown against Los Angeles—which gave him three pick-sixes over three seasons; no other active NFL player matches that record currently. Bates also forced one fumble, registered two quarterback hits, broke up six passes, and made ninety-eight tackles.

Everyone besides Pitts remains under contract with Atlanta through at least next year.

The Atlanta Falcons are based in Atlanta, Georgia and compete in the National Football League’s NFC South Division as part of its long-standing presence since being established as an expansion franchise in 1965. The organization has reached the Super Bowl twice—in 1998 and 2016—and features Freddie the Falcon as its mascot.
