The House Study Committee on Cancer Care Access is set to hold its second meeting in Albany. The committee, chaired by State Representative Lee Hawkins from Gainesville, will convene on Tuesday, June 3, 2025, at 9 a.m. The meeting will take place at the Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital.
This study committee was established through House Resolution 72. Its purpose is to investigate the barriers to accessing quality cancer care and to evaluate and propose recommendations for improvement.
