Strong leadership remains crucial for community progress, as demonstrated by the Greater Hall Chamber’s Leadership Hall County program. Established in 1982, this program aims to educate emerging and current leaders for roles in community development.

Since its inception, the program has seen 1,124 participants from diverse backgrounds complete their training. These alumni now hold positions as business leaders, politicians, judges, CEOs, entrepreneurs, nonprofit leaders, educators, and volunteers in the community. The program includes a series of lectures and tours covering topics such as Economic Development, Public Safety, Government, and more.

The 44th class of Leadership Hall County includes individuals from various sectors:

– Donna Allen with the Gainesville City School System
– William Bagwell, III from Kubota Manufacturing of America
– Trevor Bishop representing Atlanta Highway Glass
– Alejandra Carrillo of L. A. Automotive
– Josh Clark from Clark-It Realty
– Sidney Cochran affiliated with Morton Vardeman & Carlson
– Lina Cook representing Pinnacle Bank
– Emma Courtney at Hulsey, Oliver, & Mahar
– Clayton Cowart of Carroll Daniel Construction Co

Other members include Beth Garmon from Hall County Government, Zach Green of Northeast Georgia Health System, CJ Harman with Norton Commercial Acreage Group, Amy Marsh also from Northeast Georgia Health System, and several others from various local organizations and businesses.
