On Saturday, April 19, former North Forsyth High School standout Jess Ackerman’s current college team, the Mercer Bears, lost 5-4 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the East Tennessee State Buccaneers.

The game took place at OrthoGeorgia Park at Claude Smith Field. This was their third matchup against the Buccaneers this season.

The Bears’ next game is scheduled for Wednesday, April 23 at 4 p.m. at Moore-Kittles Field against Florida A&M Rattlers.
