On Friday, May 30, former South Forsyth High School standout Baylor Hicks’ current collegiate team the Columbia Lions lost 11-4 against the Southern Miss Golden Eagles in the NCAA Division I Baseball Championship.

The game took place at Pete Taylor Park at 7 p.m. and was the first matchup against the Southern Miss Golden Eagles in the tournament.

The Columbia Lions’ next game will take place on Saturday, May 31 at 9 p.m. at Pete Taylor Park.
