Brenau honors Women’s College, University graduates at spring commencement
Brenau University celebrated spring 2022 graduates Friday and Saturday at commencement ceremonies held on the historic Gainesville campus. Brenau awarded some 370 degrees during the spring semester for a total of about 775 for the 2021-22 academic year.

Each spring, Brenau students put their creativity on display during the Brenau Collaborative. The Collaborative is a series of art events featuring work from concentrations in the Center for the Arts & Design, which includes the Arts and Design Department, Interior Design, Music and Dance departments as well as the Brenau University Galleries.

Katie Watkins named Baxter-Bryan Scholar for 2022-23
Katie Watkins of Sharpsburg, Georgia, was named the Baxter-Bryan Scholar for the 2022-23 school year during Brenau University’s spring Honors Convocation on Thursday, April 21. The award is Brenau’s highest academic recognition, and the accompanying scholarship covers the winner’s tuition, room and board for her senior year.

Brenau, Gwinnett Tech sign interior design credit transfer agreement
Brenau University has entered an agreement with Gwinnett Technical College that makes it easier for students who earn associate degrees in interior design from the technical college to transfer credits to Brenau toward a bachelor’s degree.

Gainesville Theatre Alliance presents first musical on Brenau campus since 2020
For the first time in two years, the Gainesville Theatre Alliance is returning to the stage on Brenau University’s historic Gainesville campus for performances of The Secret Garden. The show will take place April 8-16 in the Hosch Theatre and is GTA’s first at Brenau since Pippin in February 2020.
