Rep. Andrew Clyde, a Republican congressman, has used his social media platform to voice strong criticism of the Biden administration and Senate Democrats, focusing on recent political controversies and government actions.

On October 7, 2025, Clyde alleged misconduct by federal authorities, stating, “Under Joe Biden’s FBI, 8 different Republican Senators were spied on through their cell phones. This is true authoritarianism and is UNACCEPTABLE. We MUST seek justice.”

Later that day, Clyde commented on an ongoing government shutdown, writing, “It’s now Day 7 of the Schumer Shutdown. All because Democrats would rather give health care to illegal aliens than give paychecks to our troops.” The following day, he reiterated his stance on the shutdown, posting, “It’s Day 8 of the Schumer Shutdown. House Republicans did our job. Yet we’re still waiting on Senate Democrats to do theirs.”

Andrew Clyde has represented his district since 2021 and has consistently secured re-election victories. In 2024, he defeated Tambrei Cash with 69% of the vote; in 2022, he won against Michael Ford with 72.4%; and in 2020, he prevailed over Devin Pandy with 78.6%. These results demonstrate his strong support among constituents.
