Rep. Andrew Clyde, a member of the U.S. House of Representatives from Georgia, recently posted several statements on his social media account addressing issues related to national security, law enforcement, and military service.
On August 6, 2025, Rep. Clyde called for public support for military personnel and police at Fort Stewart by posting: “Please join me in praying for our soldiers and law enforcement officers at Fort Stewart.”
The following day, on August 7, 2025, he commented on safety concerns in Washington D.C., stating: “President Trump is 100% right. It’s time to make our nation’s capital SAFE again.”
Later that same day, Rep. Clyde recognized Purple Heart recipients with the message: “Today, we honor the 1.8 million American patriots who have been awarded the Purple Heart. Our nation will never forget their sacrifice, selflessness, and heroism.”
Andrew Clyde has represented Georgia’s 9th congressional district since first winning election in 2020. He secured re-election victories in subsequent cycles: defeating Devin Pandy in 2020 with nearly 79% of the vote; Michael Ford in 2022 with over 72%; and Tambrei Cash in 2024 with approximately 69%.
