David Clark, a House Representative from Georgia, expressed his support for President Trump’s military actions against Iran. He emphasized the importance of strength and the refusal to negotiate in ensuring safety. Clark made this statement on the social media platform X.

“I firmly believe President Trump made the right decision in taking decisive action against Iran,” said Clark, State Representative from Georgia. “They were given a fair opportunity to come to the table and negotiate, but they flatly refused. As the world’s foremost state sponsor of terrorism, Iran has openly chanted “Death to America and Israel” and made no secret of its ambition to obtain nuclear weapons—an outcome that must never be allowed. President Trump’s approach is rooted in the principle of peace through strength—and sometimes, confronting evil requires decisive force to ensure the safety and security of our nation and the world.”

In June 2025, tensions over Iran’s nuclear program escalated significantly. According to The Australian, U.S. intelligence warned of imminent enrichment activities by Iran, prompting President Trump to initiate “Operation Midnight Hammer.” This operation involved strikes on Fordow, Natanz, and Isfahan nuclear sites using over 100 aircraft.

Reuters reported that these U.S. strikes on June 22, 2025, targeted key Iranian nuclear facilities at Fordow, Natanz, and Isfahan. While the damage was substantial, it was not permanent. American officials said that the operation delayed but did not destroy Iran’s core nuclear capabilities.

Business Insider noted that Operation Midnight Hammer represented a significant shift in U.S. strategy towards Iran’s nuclear infrastructure. It marked the first large-scale military attack by the U.S., moving away from previous limited actions and proxy strategies to direct strikes with bunker-buster bombs.
