Senator Greg Dolezal, a Republican representing Georgia’s 27th Senate District since 2019, has recently addressed several policy issues through his official social media account.
On February 25, 2026, Dolezal commented on housing and corporate ownership of homes. In his post, he stated: “President Trump is right. Homes are for people, not corporations and hedge funds. I’ve introduced legislation in Georgia to address this. President Trump has issued an Executive Order. We cannot become a nation of renters!”
Later that day, on February 25, 2026, Dolezal criticized current government budgeting practices in Georgia: “Government never budgets like you do. They don’t start at zero. They start with last year’s spending — and argue over how much MORE to add. That’s how waste survives and Georgia government grows endlessly. Time for zero-based budgeting: put the state on a diet.”
On February 26, 2026, Dolezal made remarks regarding immigration policy: “Importing people from third-world countries who reject our values and refuse to assimilate to our laws and way of life is a recipe for disaster. President Trump is right, we must prioritize Americans first and safeguard our Western values—before it’s too late.”
Dolezal succeeded Michael Williams as state senator in 2019 following his election to represent the district.
