Senator Greg Dolezal, a Republican representing Georgia’s 27th Senate District since 2019, recently used his social media platform to share legislative actions and positions on key state issues.

On February 12, 2026, Dolezal announced his support for an unspecified measure by stating, “I voted for this.”

Later that day, he highlighted the introduction of new legislation with the post: “This week, I introduced SB486 to ensure only American laws are used in American courts. Sharia Law has no place in the United States and it has no place in Georgia.” (February 12, 2026).

On February 13, 2026, Dolezal addressed recent changes to tax policy in Georgia: “Income taxes weren’t always normal. Until 1913, they were unconstitutional nationwide. Georgia didn’t adopt one until 1929. Yesterday, we passed the largest income tax cut in state history. Nearly every Democrat voted no. Why? Watch this.”

Dolezal was elected to the Georgia State Senate in 2019 after replacing Michael Williams as senator for the state’s 27th district.
