Senator Greg Dolezal, a Republican representing Georgia’s 27th Senate District since 2019, posted several updates on his Twitter account in early February 2026. His tweets addressed legislative efforts related to women’s sports and ongoing investigations involving the Fulton County District Attorney’s office.

On February 4, 2026, Dolezal recognized National Women in Sports Day by referencing legislation he authored. In his post, he stated: “On National Women in Sports Day, I am proud to stand with @Riley_Gaines_.

In Georgia, I authored and passed the Riley Gaines Act to protect women’s sports and ensure girls compete on a level playing field.

Women deserve REAL opportunities — not political experiments.”

Later that day, Dolezal announced developments from the Georgia Senate Special Committee on Investigations. He wrote: “  Subpoenas Issued 

The Georgia Senate Special Committee on Investigations has SUBPOENAED Fani Willis’ Special Prosecutor Nathan Wade and Assistant DA Jeff DiSantis.

They are ordered to appear Feb 13 at 9:00 AM.

On February 5, Dolezal commented further on the investigation into Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis. He shared: “During my 4-hours of questioning Fani Willis, her unhinged behavior was on full display.

Now we’ve subpoenaed Nathan Wade, who was on the phone with Biden’s White House for 8 hours they hired Jack Smith to go after President Trump.

Georgia voters deserve the truth. It’s”

Dolezal succeeded Michael Williams when he began serving in the state senate in 2019.
