The school’s total enrollment reached 2,622 students for 2024-25. African American students represented 3% of the overall student population, making them the second-smallest demographic at the school.

The National Center for Education Statistics indicates that Georgia public schools’ racial and ethnic breakdowns were about 36.4% Black, 35.9% white, 18.1% Hispanic, 4% Asian, 4.6% multiracial, 0.2% American Indian or Alaska Native, and 0.1% Pacific Islander.
Post-pandemic, chronic absenteeism continues to affect Georgia students, with 20.7% missing 10% or more school days in 2024, the Georgia Department of Education said. To address this, GaDOE began a statewide program involving a real-time attendance dashboard, a public awareness campaign, and targeted support to increase daily attendance in high-need districts.
In 2025, Georgia legislators updated attendance policies, prohibiting expulsion for absenteeism alone. The new law also introduces additional reporting rules and aligns with options for earning diplomas through alternative programs.
By 2026, Georgia’s average student-to-teacher ratio was about 14:1, which is better than the national average of 15:1.
