Forsyth County Chamber of Commerce recently issued the following announcement.

Your safety is of the utmost importance to us. Thus, we have set a few important event procedures in place based off of the CDC Guidelines:

If you do not feel well or are experiencing any symptoms of COVID-19, please attend this event virtually. The CDC says the symptoms of COVID-19 include: Fever or chills, Cough, Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing, Fatigue, Muscle or body aches, Headache, New loss of taste or smell, Sore throat, Congestion or runny nose, Nausea or vomiting, Diarrhea. Your temperature will be taken upon entering the venue from a masked Chamber Employee. Your temperature will NOT be record.

Please note: if your temperature is above 100.4 you will NOT be permitted to enter the event.

There will be multiple sanitation stations located throughout the venue.

Please follow all social distancing guidelines including, remaining 6 ft. apart and refraining from shaking hands. Seating will be spaced out to comply with the social distancing guidelines. Social distancing guidelines set in place by the CDC can be found here.

We ask you to please consider wearing a mask out of respect for other guests and Chamber team members. Masks will be provided for your use but are not mandatory.

By registering to attend 9 before 9, I understand the hazards and risks of attending this event in-person and the risks of COVD-19. I am familiar with the CDC guidelines regarding COVID-19. I acknowledge and understand that the circumstances regarding COVID-19 are changing from day to day and the CDC guidelines are regularly modified and updated. I accept full responsibility for familiarizing myself with the most recent updates.

I acknowledge and fully assume the risk of illness or death related to COVID-19 arising from my being on the premises and participating in the event in-person.

I hereby RELEASE, WAIVE, DISCHARGE, AND COVENANT NOT TO SUE (on behalf of myself and my business) the Forsyth County Chamber and their employees and the restaurant their employees from any liability related to COVID-19 which might occur as a result of my being on the premises and participating in the event.

I understand the guidelines the Chamber has set in place, and I agree to uphold these guidelines to help keep myself and other attendees safe. If I choose not to uphold these guidelines, I understand that I could be asked to leave the event and will not receive a refund.

By registering, I acknowledge that I have read and fully understand the risks associated with attending in-person events, agree to not hold the Forsyth County Chamber and its employees or the restaurant and its employees liable for any illness or harm that could arise from participating in this event in-person, and will abide by all guidelines the Forsyth County Chamber and  restaurant have set in place.
