County of Hall issued the following announcement on November 11.
Hall County Government is hosting a workshop next week for representatives with local non-profits wanting to learn more about the federal funding available to them as part of the American Rescue Plan Act.
“This is a wonderful opportunity for leaders in Hall County’s non-profit sector to learn about this program and for us to answer any questions they may have,” said Casey Ramsey, Hall County’s Director of Emergency Management.
The workshop will begin at 9 a.m. on Friday, Nov. 19 in the Banquet Hall on the 4th floor of the Hall County Government Center, located at 2875 Browns Bridge Road, Gainesville, GA 30507. A virtual option is also available during that same time and will be available at the following link: https://attendee.gotowebinar.com/register/5772621182695752461 Attendance at the workshop is not required to apply for the grant.
Earlier this year, Hall County received just under $40 million in American Rescue Plan funding to help turn the tide on the COVID-19 pandemic. The Hall County Board of Commissioners set aside $4 million of those funds for area non-profits to help them provide services that align with the goals of the American Rescue Plan.
