The Gainesville Public Works Department is facilitating repairs to Prior Street NE after the road failed early Thursday evening, Jan. 12, during a severe weather event across Gainesville-Hall County.
Prior Street at Glenwood and Memorial drives, in the area of Martha Hope Cabin, will close to thru traffic at the following times over the next several days: 6 p.m.-7 a.m. starting Friday, Jan. 13; 6 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 14-7 a.m. Monday, Jan. 16; 6 p.m.-7 a.m. starting Monday, Jan. 16; and 6 p.m.-7 a.m. starting Tuesday, Jan. 17.
Those navigating the area are urged to drive carefully, and watch for construction workers and equipment during this time.
