FOIA Request to Habersham County Election Department Regarding Ballot Counting Methods on October 29, 2024.
In our continuous efforts to provide comprehensive and accurate news coverage on local governmental affairs, we at NE Atlanta News have submitted a request under the Georgia Open Records Act § 50.18.70 et seq., for specific information from the Habersham County Election Department.
The requested records include details about the methods being used by the department to count votes in the upcoming elections. If manual counting is involved, we have also asked for an estimated number of people who will be working on election night.
