Rep. Andrew Clyde, currently serving in the U.S. Congress representing Georgia's 9th district, shared his views on recent political developments through a series of tweets on February 5, 2025. The congressman expressed his support for newly confirmed Attorney General Pam Bondi and commented on government size and spending.

On February 5, 2025, Rep. Clyde announced the confirmation of Pam Bondi as Attorney General of the United States. He stated that "Bondi will restore law and order, defend American values, and never back down in the fight for justice."

Later that day, Clyde addressed government size and efficiency by stating that "We must reduce the size, scope, and cost of government to get our country back on track." He further mentioned DOGE as part of this initiative.

In another tweet from February 5, 2025, Clyde criticized USAID by referring to it as "the Deep State’s slush fund for far too long." He praised President Trump and Elon Musk for their efforts in exposing what he described as corruption.
