Both players are known for their distinct styles and have made significant contributions to lacrosse. Lyle Thompson, standing at 6’1” and weighing 180 pounds, is known for his combination of power and speed. At 32 years old, he continues to impress with his ability to score from long distances or navigate through defenses. "Lyle is not only our best player but our hardest working," said his coach. His achievements include being a 2017 NLL champion and regular season MVP.
Jeff Teat, at 5’10” and weighing 170 pounds, brings creativity to the field. At 27 years old, he excels in scoring from challenging angles while supporting teammates effectively. Described as an "absolutely complete player," Teat's vision and understanding of the game set him apart. He was named Rookie of the Year in 2022.
Coaches have high praise for both athletes. One noted that Thompson can "make something out of nothing" on offense, while another highlighted Teat's unselfishness: "Jeff is more happy with other people’s success than he is his own."
