Congressman Andrew Clyde has proposed a bill to rename Black Lives Matter Plaza in Washington, D.C. The legislation aims to change the name to Liberty Plaza. Congressman Clyde expressed his support for this initiative by stating, "President Trump is 100% right: we must clean up Washington, D.C. for the American people."

Clyde elaborated on his position by criticizing the Black Lives Matter organization, saying, "I believe that removing BLM Plaza must be part of this critical effort. After all, BLM is a radical, defund the police organization — but we are not a defund the police nation." He further added that it was time for Congress to take action regarding Washington's affairs and remove what he described as a "deeply divisive slogan" from the capital city's streets.

"Our capital city must serve as a beacon of freedom, patriotism, and safety — not wokeness, divisiveness, and lawlessness," Clyde concluded.

The text of the bill is available online along with an exclusive report from Breitbart.
