Rep. Andrew Clyde, a U.S. Congressman representing Georgia's 9th district since 2021, recently shared a series of tweets on various political and personal topics. Born in Walkerton, Ontario, Canada in 1963, Clyde has been an active member of Congress following his predecessor Doug Collins. He resides in Athens and holds degrees from the University of Notre Dame, Bethel University, and the University of Georgia.

On March 5, 2025, Rep. Clyde expressed his views on identity with a religious undertone by stating "God made you who you are and you cannot change that."

In another tweet posted later the same day, he criticized Democrats for their lack of support on several issues: "Democrats refused to applaud for deporting criminal illegals, ending men in women’s sports, cutting taxes for hardworking Americans, bolstering our national security, and much more. The Left really can’t stand to see America BACK and WINNING."

Further reflecting on recent events involving former President Donald Trump, Clyde tweeted: "Last night was truly historic. Thank you, President Trump, for your unwavering leadership and dedication to the American people." This tweet was also shared on March 5.
