On Sunday, April 13, former West Forsyth High School standout Bryce Hawkins’ current college team, the Mercer Bears, won 4-3 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Charleston Southern Buccaneers.

The game took place at Nielsen Field @ CSU Ballpark. This was their third matchup against the Buccaneers this season.

The Bears’ next game is scheduled for Tuesday, April 15 at 6 p.m. at J. I. Clements Stadium against Georgia Southern Eagles.
