On Thursday, April 17, former West Forsyth High School standout Bryce Hawkins’ current college team, the Mercer Bears, won 5-1 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the East Tennessee State Buccaneers.

The game took place at OrthoGeorgia Park at Claude Smith Field. This was their first matchup against the Buccaneers this season.

The Bears’ next game is scheduled for Friday, April 18 at 6 p.m. at OrthoGeorgia Park at Claude Smith Field against East Tennessee State Buccaneers.
