Todd Jones, a member of the Georgia State House, recently posted a series of statements on his social media account regarding logic and the potential risks associated with marijuana use.

On February 8, 2026, Jones wrote, “Very sound logic. https://t.co/XHJUQSUEyU”. Later that day, he added another comment: “Just at the functional IQ level… https://t.co/p6PzyowUlQ”.

On February 11, 2026, Jones addressed concerns about marijuana consumption in a post stating, “Smoking marijuana is not harmless. It is both a gateway drug to even more harmful substances and a trigger to potential schizophrenia. https://t.co/M2U4lhodm5”.

Jones has represented Georgia’s 25th House District since being elected in 2017 as a Republican. He succeeded Michael Dudgeon in this role.
