On Wednesday, April 16, former West Forsyth High School standout Abby Williams’ current college team, the Francis Marion Patriots, won 5-4 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the UNC Pembroke Braves.

The game took place at Purnell Swett High School. This was their fourth matchup against the Braves this season.

The Patriots’ next game is scheduled for Friday, April 25 at 4:15 p.m. at Tyger River Park against North Greenville Crusaders.
