Rich McCormick named chair of oversight subcommittee

Congressman Rich McCormick has been appointed as the chairman of the Oversight and Investigations Subcommittee, part of the Science, Space, and Technology Committee.

Expressing his gratitude for the appointment, Congressman McCormick said, "I am honored to be appointed as chairman of the Subcommittee on Oversight and Investigations of the Science, Space, and Technology Committee by Chairman Babin. I am grateful for his trust in me as I continue the work to bring oversight and accountability to this body. I look forward to working with NASA, the National Science Foundation, the National Institute of Standards and Technology, the White House Office of Science and Technology Policy, and many other leaders in this arena."

In addition to his new role, Congressman McCormick will continue serving as a member of the Space and Aeronautics Subcommittee.
