Rep. Andrew Clyde, who has been serving in the U.S. Congress representing Georgia's 9th district since 2021, shared a series of tweets expressing his views on various political issues. Born in Walkerton, Ontario, Canada in 1963 and currently residing in Athens, Clyde holds degrees from the University of Notre Dame, Bethel University, and the University of Georgia.

On February 13, 2025, Rep. Clyde voiced his concerns about judicial actions affecting executive authority. He stated: "We cannot allow activist judges to deny President Trump his Article II executive authority." In response to this situation, he announced that he is "drafting articles of impeachment against U.S. District Judge John McConnell."

The following day, February 14, Rep. Clyde reiterated his stance against perceived judicial activism by stating: "Couldn’t agree more. We must combat the Left’s judicial activism."

Later that day, Clyde celebrated a legislative achievement by announcing: " PASSED OUT OF COMMITTEE: House Republicans’ budget resolution." He emphasized that this development facilitates the budget reconciliation process and aligns with President Trump's "America First agenda."
