The Greater Hall Chamber has announced the 21st class of Youth Leadership Hall (YLH), featuring 80 students from 12 public and private high schools in Gainesville-Hall County. This initiative, which began in 2005, aims to cultivate future community leaders through engagement and leadership development. To date, 1,320 students have completed the program.

The upcoming class of 2026 will commence with an introductory event at the Gainesville Civic Center in August 2025. This will involve educators, school administrators, volunteers, and family members. The students are set to engage in monthly sessions focused on important topics such as the judicial system, healthcare, leadership skills, government, and economic development.

The institutions participating in this program include Cherokee Bluff High School, Chestatee High School, and several others, each represented by a diverse group of students. The program provides these young individuals with the tools and experiences necessary for a leadership role in the community.

For inquiries about the Youth Leadership Hall program, contact Lisa McCormack, the Chamber Vice President of Education, at 770-532-6206 or via email at lmccormack@ghcc.com.
