Gainesville offices closed Labor Day: Monday, Sept. 6

Closed

City of Gainesville issued the following announcement on August 17.

The City of Gainesville will observe the Labor Day holiday Monday, Sept. 6, resulting in unavailability of the following facilities and services:

All administrative offices, including those at the:

• Gainesville Administration Building

• Gainesville Community and Economic Development Building

• Gainesville Public Safety Complex

• Gainesville Civic Center (Gainesville Parks & Recreation), etc. The Frances Meadows Aquatic Center will remain open Sept. 6.

Gainesville-Hall County Community Service Center, including:

• Meals on Wheels

• Senior Life Center

Transportation, including:

• WeGo

• Downtown lunch trolley (11 a.m.-2 p.m. Monday-Friday only)

Garbage and recycling
