Alcohol License Applications Now Submitted Through State-Wide Alcohol Licensing Portal

419

County of Forsyth recently issued the following announcement.

To create a more streamlined retail alcohol initial registration and renewal licensing process, the Georgia Department of Revenue has developed a centralized state-wide Alcohol Licensing Portal (ALP). The portal can be accessed by clicking here.

Alcohol license applicants for retail beer/wine consumption on premises (includes distilled spirits), and special events permits are now required to submit their application through the ALP to ensure both the Department of Revenue and local licensing jurisdictions (including the Forsyth County Business License Department) receive, review and process all retail alcohol applications in one location to create a more efficient process.

Applicants for wholesale, manufacturer distillery and manufacturer brewery will still be required to submit a new alcohol application directly to the Forsyth County Business License Department.
